About Us

To promote the sport of agility in Canada for all dogs regardless of pedigree.

To assist individual members, clubs, or associations in running AAC Sanctioned Agility Trials.

To encourage responsible dog ownership and sportsmanlike competition in agility.

To educate members and the public at large in the sport of agility.

To adopt and enforce AAC Official Rules and Regulations governing agility, where the clubs and associations staging such events, desire to hold same under said Rules and Regulations.

To hold Judging Seminars and/or tests, by which AAC Judges are approved for judging titling Trials.

To award to individuals such titles as may be designated from time to time by AAC, if the minimum standards have been met.

To operate, manage and lease premises and/or facilities for AAC National Agility Championships

To encourage the organization of clubs/associations in localities where there are sufficient fanciers of agility.

To maintain, under an appointment editor who shall choose his/her staff, a quarterly publication called On Course which shall include a Secretary’s Page of AAC announcements and other such items as shall be of general and educational interest. Subscription shall be free to all AAC members.
