    Refuge for Nations is a nonprofit social enterprise committed to empowering refugee women across Metro Detroit. We provide all the support needed for immigrant and refugee women to not just survive, but to thrive in the new life ahead of them. From breaking down language barriers with our ESL (English as a Second Language) courses to learning skilled trades that lead to eventual employment, our organization empowers women with the tools needed to build a meaningful life for themselves as well as their families.

    About Us

    Through strategic partnerships with the greater community, it is our aim to grow employment opportunities for women who may not immediately thrive in traditional work settings. We hope to be able to provide new avenues for employment, assistance with housing, and any other support needed to settle comfortably. Through these efforts, we also look for ways we can give back or contribute to the greater community.
