About Us
The mission of the Friends of Hurricane Creek is to promote the protection and rehabilitation of Hurricane Creek and its watershed. Membership consists of a diverse group of citizens with the common goal of restoring the health and integrity of the Hurricane Creek watershed. By educating citizens on the relationship between water quality and quality of life, we promote smart growth strategies and work together to hold our government agencies accountable. We advocate partnerships with other organizations and believe that we must work together to facilitate positive change.
