VISION


our students learn the foundations of journalism through a heart-centered approach.

this type of methodology sources from traditional journalistic practices;

coyote mentoring; yogaed practicum; conservation and stewardship;

eastern and western philosophies; and, re-wilding, are then combined with exploration

and experiential learning. all the while, the great outdoors as our classroom


THE FIELD JOURNAL

in partnership with national geographic open explorer; join us as we embark on research that will take us from the lush emerald rainforest of the leuser eco-system; to the colombian amazon; and to the tea villages of mount everest in nepal. our field journal will be accessible to educators, citizen scientists, explorers, and students around the world. our open explorer expedition will bring the opportunity in classrooms around the world to engage in our scientific explorations and encounters as they happen. the goal is to instill this explorer program into the curriculum of local classrooms around the pacific northwest and beyond
