The Friendship Circle of Arizona

The Friendship Circe is all about building a better world for children with special needs ... one friend at a time.

Simply put, The Friendship Circle lets children, teens and young adults with special needs enjoy many of the social and recreational opportunities afforded to the community at large. We also provide a way for teenagers to offer respite and friendship to these children and their families.

For over 6 years, our Circle has touched lives in the Jewish community and beyond:

• Children with special needs look forward to weekly visits or "Sunday Fundays" — and discover what they can do, instead of what they can’t.

• Families of children with special needs enjoy a needed respite and the pleasure of watching their children being welcomed by our community.

• Teenage volunteers learn the value of giving and experience the satisfaction of making a meaningful difference in a child's life.
