ICICI Centre for Elementary Education

ICICI Centre for Elementary Education is a public charitable trust set up by ICICI Bank, India's leading private bank with its long standing leadership in strategic development financing. The Centre supports initiatives on quality in elementary education by strengthening the various institutions of the state governments. For this it cultivates multi sectoral partnerships involving state institutions and non state institutions like education resource organizations, universities, corporate organizations etc. Over the last decade, it has had collaborations with state institutions in Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Rajasthan,West Bengal and Tripura.

Fellows and Senior Fellows

The Centre invites applications for the position of Fellows and Senior Fellows who would lead its engagement in the States of Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Uttara Khand, Orissa & West Bengal. The work would require an ability to navigate through complex government organizational structures, civil society and corporations.The fellows will also be expected to make contributions through research and publications in the Centre's agenda for providing constructive inputs to the national public policy discourse. Besides, these positions would have key role in developing and managing innovative programmes in the states with large number of out of school children, and low learning achievements.

Qualifications

Interested candidates must have a Masters and/or Ph.D in a relevant discipline with 7-10 years experiences for Senior Fellows and 3-5 years for Fellows (Doctoral degrees in Education and Educational Studies will be given preference). Those with prior experience in collaborative projects with government institutions and/or usage of educational technology are encouraged to apply.These positions are based in Pune or Mumbai. Remuneration will be as per industry standards.The Centre encourages professionals from within Government systems to join its team.
