Creative Wellness Institute

Creative Wellness Institute is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization whose mission is to empower and inspire individuals and families to create positive change in their lives by providing access to counseling, creative arts and experiential programs that are nurturing and healing.

Our STRONGGirls program is designed for girls age 12-18 referred by Jefferson County Family Court. Group, individual and family counseling along with art, dance, drumming and equestrian assisted therapy are used to facilitate the acquisition of skills to manage emotions, solve problems, effectively and make thoughtful decisions. Teaching girls to recognize physiological cues from their bodies and powers them to safely navigate life and relationship relationships with peers and family.
