    To serve God’s people with a preferential option for the poor.

    Our Vision

    Our vision is to welcome and assist all of our brothers and sisters in Lake County who are unable to meet their daily living needs of food, clothing and shelter. The focus of each program is to enable each person to live in society with dignity, independence and pride as productive members.

    The programs and opportunities will include but not be limited to:

    • outreach to the needy,
    • crisis intervention,
    • advocacy,
    • education of all ages,
    • health care,
    • prevention services,
    • legal services,
    • job training and placement,
    • home economics,
    • improved social skills,
    • individual and family counseling to a diverse population of those in need, the marginalized and the at-risk.

    Who we Support We welcome and assist residents of Lake County, Illinois regardless of age, race, color or creed, who are unable to meet their daily living needs of food, clothing, shelter and safety.
