    The mission of YWCA Minneapolis is to eliminate racism, empower women and girls, and promote peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.

    About Us

    The YWCA Minneapolis is a nonprofit membership organization founded in 1891 as a member of the national YWCA, an autonomous women's movement. We have been at the forefront of social change ever since.

    Today, the YWCA of Minneapolis serves over 30,000 people annually with hundreds of programs, classes and support groups. As part of a worldwide women's movement in over 70 countries, the YWCA strives every day to achieve:
