Volunteer Houston, established in 1974, is a non-profit organization dedicated to the development, promotion and support of volunteerism. For more than 30 years, Volunteer Houston has been the city's sole referral service connecting volunteers to a broad spectrum of diverse non-profit organizations. Over 700 non-profit organizations in the Greater Houston Area will rely on Volunteer Houston to acquire over 30,000 volunteers this year. Volunteer Houston also partners with businesses to manage corporate service projects for the benefit of our community.
