West Marin Community Radio-KWMR

West Marin Community Radio is a 501(c)3 organization that holds the broadcast license for KWMR-FM, a non-commercial, community radio station located in Point Reyes Station, California. As the only radio service based in West Marin, KWMR provides our listeners with a wide range of local information, public affairs, music, and entertainment.

The population of West Marin is KWMR’s primary constituency. A geographically isolated, rural area, West Marin has a diverse population, including: ranchers, farmers, academics, local business owners, artists, civic activists, a Spanish-speaking population, many teens. seniors and families. With much land in agriculture and parks (state and federal), bordered by the Pacific Ocean, and containing the Bolinas Lagoon and Tomales Bay, West Marin focuses on environmental issues.
