Romain Creative Media

Romain Creative Media is an independent documentary film production company developing socially engaged nonfiction projects.

Our work focuses on uncovering overlooked histories and lived experiences, particularly within Black and Afro-diasporic communities, and bringing them to the public through character-driven storytelling.

We believe documentary film can deepen understanding, preserve cultural memory, and spark meaningful conversation. Our projects are grounded in research, collaboration, and creative integrity, and are developed with care for the people and histories at their center.

Current projects are fiscally sponsored by the Center for Independent Documentary (501(c)(3)), which allows our work to operate within a nonprofit framework for fundraising and community engagement.
