About Us

What Works in Development?

The Center for Sustainable Development provides proof-tested solutions to challenges faced by development professionals: grant managers, executive directors, project designers, grant writers, project managers, and field promoters.

The Center researches evidence-based, best practices for use in international rural development projects, and makes them accessible on their website. These resources include the training guides and support materials needed by field staff for developing projects that can be scaled up or replicated as they expand into new communities.

The Center also offers workshops to both donors and NGO staff on participatory needs assessments, project design and funding, project management, and impact analysis. These workshops are designed to assist organizations develop programs that have greater impact in breaking the cycle of poverty.
