  • Mission

STARBASE Vermont has served students, teachers and schools since 1994. Our mission is to raise the interest and improve the knowledge and skills of youth in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). We provide an exciting activity-based curriculum involving hands-on STEM, team building, and healthy choices.

    About Us

STARBASE Vermont works with 5th grade students throughout Vermont. We have program sites in Rutland and South Burlington, we are able to reach over 1, 500 students annually! We provide dynamic activities focusing on chemistry, physics, technology, engineering, geometry, navigation, and data analysis.

STARBASE 2.0 is an after school program for middle school students. The program requires volunteers (mentors) from local organizations to lead a group of students through a STEM related activity. Activities include model rockets, drone flying, imagery analysis, robots, cosmetic science, and 3D design and printing.
