Investrata Foundation For Social Entreprenuership

The Investrata Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship is a nonprofit organization focused on helping socio-environmental entrepreneurs achieve scale and maximize impact as they address some of the planet’s most disconcerting challenges.

Founded by alumni from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, our mission today is threefold:

1. Develop an ‘Impact Amplifier’ platform – This will harness leading-edge technology, best-practice techniques as well as business model innovations to provide scalable solutions (including necessary infrastructure support and mentoring services)

2. Establish an angel fund – This will provide seed capital and institutional support to select early stage socio-environmental enterprises. The goal with the angle fund is to help these organizations scale up and get to a stage where they become eligible for further venture capital funding.

3. Create and participate in ecosystems – both global and local, that cultivate and advance social entrepreneurship.
