  • About Us

The Barbara Bus Fund provides wheelchair accessible vehicles for loan to passengers who have to travel in their wheelchair because they are unable to transfer to travel in a standard car seat.

Founded in 1968 by Barbara Werndly who herself was a long-term inpatient at the RNOH, the BBF now has 5 branches with Head Office still at the RNOH.

Vehicles are available for loan on a self-drive basis or with a volunteer driver for those passengers who do not have anyone to drive them.
