    Wakefield Community Access TV (WCAT) is your trusted community media partner that offers a communication platform for dialogue, civic engagement, and diverse perspectives not generally available from commercial media.

    About Us

    WCAT (since 1992) is committed to providing quality programming that reflects the voice of and for the community of Wakefield. Through its investment in high quality technology, staff, education, visibility and strong community engagement we provide coverage of government, public and educational events. Volunteers are needed to run camera on site and off site. Also, volunteers have opportunities in the control room. Some training will be provided. Ages 16 and older, including adults. Most, but not all, activity is in the evening. Occasional weekend.
