About Us

The mission of The ELM Project is to enhance the lives of youth living with the challenges of HIV/AIDS and sickle cell disease by providing an enriching summer camp experience, year-round skill building and a supported transition to adulthood.

We serve children who are 8 - 18 years old. All our programs are offered at no cost to families.

It is the firm conviction of The ELM Project that youth, regardless of their economic, social or medical challenges should have the opportunity to experience the carefree joys of childhood. The goal of The ELM Project is to develop independence, friendship, and self-confidence through the building of new skills and increased abilities in a safe and healthy environment.
