The A Jean Brugger Education Project

The A. Jean Brugger Foundation (AJBF) The A. Jean Brugger Education Project, founded in 2000, is a non-profit foundation devoted to assisting Nicaragua through education and community development. Our mission is to create and promote programs in education and community development in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua and it surrounding areas. Our commitment to this has resulted, but has not been limited to, the graduation of 60 local students from University, the founding of local recreational activities, community fellowship between the young people and seniors, and the ongoing sponsorship of high school and college students. It is only through the programs of the Foundation that many eligible students are able to consider post-secondary studies. It is not an easy task but we believe that by focusing our efforts in coordination with our community partners and donors that we have the best chance of making a difference in the community - one student, one teacher and one school at a time.
