Our mission is to preserve childhood and prioritize the well-being of young people in digital spaces by pursuing bold, high-impact solutions that shift systems and protect millions through public policy accountability and strategic partnerships.
The Digital Childhood Alliance (DCA) is a 501(c)(4) advocacy organization working to protect children in the digital age. We believe childhood should be a time for play, curiosity, and connection, not pressure, commodification, or harm.
Our mission is to preserve childhood and prioritize the well-being of young people in digital spaces through bold policy change, public accountability, and strategic partnerships. We work to ensure that technology upholds the rights, dignity, privacy, and safety of every child.
Our current initiatives include the App Store Accountability Act (ASAA) — advancing state and federal protections for families — and the AI Safety for Kids coalition, which builds forward-thinking policy solutions for a safer digital future.
Our culture is grounded in shared values:
We’re a mission-driven, fast-moving team of advocates, policy experts, and parents working to reshape the digital world for good and we’re looking for changemakers who share our vision.
