    About Us

The Refuge at Jumper Creek is a faith-based shelter located in rural Sumter County. We house single men, single women, single parents and intact families. We take in folks who have nowhere else to go; many finding themselves at the lowest point in their lives. We provide them with all of their essential needs, and work diligently with them to get them back on their feet. Our folks work a case plan, attend life skills and other enrichment programming, and eventually transition out on their own. We operate primarily on donations and with the help of volunteers just like you!
