California Coastal Horse Rescue

California Coastal Horse Rescue cares for those horses that no one else will care for. We provide food, shelter, rehabilitation, medical care, and adoption services for horses that have been abused, abandoned or neglected.

Volunteers are the backbone of California Coastal Horse Rescue and donate their time to feeding, exercising, grooming, and cleaning stalls as well as facility maintenance fundraising, public education and special events. Most importantly, our volunteers provide daily love and attention for all of the horses in their care.

California Coastal Horse Rescue's adoption service strives to find new caring homes for horses sheltered at the rescue. Potential adopters are screened, and every effort is made to match a horse with a compatible new owner. Site checks as well as follow up visits are performed regularly.

California Coastal Horse Rescue achieves results with the help of our volunteers and the generosity of private and corporate sponsors. No salaries are paid.
