  • Mission

Worldmaker Resilience Institute equips individuals and communities impacted by chronic stress, trauma, and crisis with skills to strengthen well-being and navigate adversity. Through evidence-based, trauma-responsive training and community-based programs, we reduce stigma, prevent burnout, and build psychological resilience and leadership capacity. By fostering trusted peer connection and sustainable resilience practices, our programs empower individuals on the front lines to thrive while they protect and serve others.

    About Us

Founded in 2011 in Mount Vernon, Iowa, Worldmaker Resilience Institute began as a grassroots response to youth suicides. We quickly recognized a broader need: those on the front lines - veterans, first responders, and caregivers - often have limited opportunities to build their own well-being while serving others.

Today, Worldmaker delivers scalable, research-driven resilience programs that empower individuals and communities to prepare for, adapt to, and grow through adversity. Guided by a simple belief that we thrive together, we focus on relationships, wellness, and practical skills that create lasting impact.

Our programs serve veterans, first responders, caregivers, active-duty military, and civilians, providing safe, supportive spaces to build strength, resilience, and leadership.
