    The National Civilian Community Corps is an AmeriCorps program that gets things done for America and its communities. We mentor kids, build homes, help the environment and respond to disaster. In exchange for 10 months of service, NCCC members receive a living stipend, health coverage, housing, uniforms and an education award of nearly $5,000.
