Newbridge Place

  • Mission

To provide individualized, supportive care and recovery, and promote a passage to a better quality of life for people suffering from mental illness.

    About Us

Newbridge Place was established in 2004 to provide 24 hr care and long term housing to people with chronic mental illnesses whose independent functioning is impaired. A majority of our residents are service connected veterans suffering from severe and persistent mental illnesses such as paranoid schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major affective disorders and PTSD. Many of the individuals served hav e dual diagnosis of drug and alcohol dependence and/or suffer from physical limitations. Due to the unique 24-hour staffing, training and dedication to this population, many of the residents succeeded to or maintain more independent living, whereas they failed in other facilities and are at greater risk of hospitalization, jail or homelessness.
