About Us

Mount Holyoke College, founded in 1837 in the Connecticut River Valley of Western Massachusetts, is known as one of the nation’s finest liberal arts colleges. Dedicated to the higher education of women, the College serves an undergraduate student body of 2,100 from 48 states and nearly 70 countries as well as alumnae in excess of 33,000. Mount Holyoke is a member of the Five College Consortium that includes Amherst, Hampshire, and Smith Colleges and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

The Alumnae Association of Mount Holyoke College is an independent organization that serves a worldwide network of diverse individuals, cultivates and celebrates vibrant connections among all alumnae, fosters lifelong learning in the liberal arts tradition, and facilitates opportunities for alumnae to advance the goals and values of the College.
