NCIA is made up of a group of activits from the UK campaigning for independent action.

NCIA is currently focusing its attention on three main areas . These are:

 The privatisation of public services and the undermining of independent voluntary action arising from this  The damaging influence of inappropriate management styles on voluntary action  The need to defend and promote the value of community groups and community action
