    About Us

    Assistance League of Ventura County,a chapter of National Assistance League, is a nonprofit volunteer organization dedicated to the enrichment of the lives of children in Ventura County and the betterment of their future. We run and support the following philanthropic programs:

    Operation School Bell (r)

    Providing new school clothes to children in need since 1993 Girls Club/Teen Club

    Girls Club/Teen Club provides an after school safe haven and summer camp for girls attending elementary and middle schools in the city of Ventura. Assistance League School

    The school provides activities for the development of language skills, cognitive growth, fine and gross motor skills and adaptive behavior to preschool children with learning delays. B.U.F.F.Y. Bear

    Through a program initiated in 1989, these cuddly bears are distributed to first responders to give to children experiencing traumatic events to offer them comfort and reassurance in a time of crisis.
