To provide coding and other computer skills to foster kids free of charge, so they can improve their career prospects when they age out of foster care.
About Us
Techie Youth, Corp. provides coding and other computer skills to foster kids free of charge, so they can improve their career prospects when they age out of foster care. We have been providing free training classes since November 2015. Since that time, over 150 at-risk youth have graduated from our course focused on IT helpdesk skills, and approximately a dozen have been placed in permanent jobs that use the technical skills they honed at Techie Youth.
