    The mission of Easterseals, serving the Capital Region and Eastern Connecticut is to provide comprehensive medical and vocational services to people with disabilities in order to maximize their independence and self-sufficiency. We believe that all people have a desire and right to live in dignity and to be responsible for their own welfare and destiny.

    The purpose of Easterseals is to change the way the world defines and views disability by making profound, positive differences in people’s lives every day.

    Easterseals Capital Region & Eastern Connecticut is helping people challenged with disabilities live with dignity and be responsible for their own welfare and destiny. We provide programs and services which improve the functional aspects of their lives, which create a climate of acceptance in the community, and which enable them to maintain their rights as participating members of society. We serve approximately 1,300 persons each year through comprehensive medical rehabilitation, vocational rehabilitation, day support services, veterans services, and outreach programs. With accreditation through the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, Easterseals provides services to children, adults, and veterans. #CHC
