    MamAfrika Organization is a non-profit NGO. was founded on November 11th, 2014, our first association was named CSM Fida Casablanca, in 2008 and retitled MamAfrika Organization in 2014, that was established to build equality, social dialogue, and fraternity between nations through Inter-Cultural Youth exchange MamaAfrika is LGBTQ friendly organization that supports gender equality.

    The association was founded by a group of young people from Morocco, Denmark, and Belgium who returned to their homeland after living in Europe to start organizing work camps and long-term projects for people with fewer opportunities to combat social exclusion. MamAfrika Organization works in collaboration with European Commission Programmes. It is certified by the Ministry of Youth and the Ministry of the Interior within the organization of international volunteers and cultural exchange in Morocco.

    MamAfrika Organization is a member of: - UMAC (Moroc-can union of work camps association), FAL (Anna Lindth Fondation Morocco), and Associations space UMAV, (Maghreb union of volunteering action). MamAfrika Or-ganization is also a partner in International Voluntary Organisations.

    Mission

    MamAfrika Organization works to promote local and international volunteering as a civic contribution and to encourage new initiatives and contribute to their implementation. It works also to improve the dialog between young people in order to build a sustainable bilateral understanding and peace.

    The AIMS In order to achieve its missions, MamAfrika Organization works to:

    • Implement projects dealing with local population needs such as, global education, capacity

    building, youth activi-ties, and protection of environment, health etc.

    • Encourage the active involvement of local and international volunteers in its projects
    • Encourage young people to join the associative work, participate actively to its activities, improve their capacity building and ensure the sustainable of the associative movement
    • Foster the local and international youth meeting without distinction because of race, social status, or any other disadvantages, so as to communicate and seat up a global intercultural learning and international peace
    • Strengthen the associative governance and contribute to its empowerment so as to achieve its mission in a democratic way
    • Work for the recognition of the voluntary service and non-formal education

    Aims and objectives:

    MamAfrika Organization is a non-profit NGO with several regional sections in Morocco and a large international relation of cooperation. MamAfrika Organization is a non-profit NGO that is a member of several national and international plat forms ,aims and objectives to:

    • To promote volunteer activities for young people in their spare time and holidays.
    • To promote community development and encourage participation of community members in activities for their own benefit.
    • To create opportunities to exchange experiences between youth from different parts of the country and the rest of the world.
    • To promote international understanding through voluntary services.
    • To enable young people to encounter and understand different cultures.
    • To encourage the concept of voluntary services as a force in search for peace equality, democracy and international understanding

    Our values

    We believe international volunteering enables young people to make a positive difference in local communities. Working in partnership ensures all volunteering activities are identified and managed by local communities and that projects are needed, meaningful, and sustainable.

    We believe international volunteering can enable people to gain a deeper understanding of the world through working and living together.

    Our projects bring people from different countries and social backgrounds together, leading to an awareness and appreciation of differences and similarities between cultures.

    Projects equip (young) people with the confidence, skills, and knowledge to make more informed choices and decisions about the way they live their lives.

    We are working with our partners to ensure international volunteering opportunities are accessible to people from a wide range of backgrounds.

    Our volunteers come from all walks of life and we believe that everyone has something to offer and something to gain, whether unemployed, studying, or working. Throughour supported volunteer programme,we help overcome people’s barriers to international volunteering.
