    The mission of Lesley University Center for Reading Recovery & Literacy Collaborative is to assure the successful literacy achievement for every child.

    To achieve its mission the Center:

    collaborates with school communities and other interested parties to make available to all children the most effective literacy programs with measurable results;

    provides leadership in research, development, training and ongoing support of quality, comprehensive literacy programs in elementary schools;

    works in partnership with an international network of universities committed to effective literacy programs, including Reading Recovery and the Literacy Collaborative;

    supports implementation of the most effective literacy programs to schools across the country and around the world.
