Mission
Our mission is to cure loneliness and isolation amongst the older population in our community. Porchlight Friends offers support and assistance to older adults to help them age in place, safely and independently, in whatever space they call home. These services include in-person interactions, assistance with daily tasks, online connection to family, friends and community services, along with easy access to transportation.
About Us
Porchlight Friends companions assist with projects in the home, light housework and transportation for doctor appointments and errands. Clients also enjoy easy connection to family and friends, as well as community services, using the Porchlight Health platform. Most importantly, our companions provide face-to-face interactions, lasting 2 hours, to help battle the loneliness and isolation felt by so many of our older loved ones.
The Porchlight Health platform combines technology with in-person support to ensure even the most digitally challenged adults stay connected. It is secure, easy to use and has one-touch connections for video chats, phone calls and texting with friends and family across the country.
