Georgetown University Program in Performing Arts

  • About Us

Georgetown’s Program in the Performing Arts (PPA) brings together the College’s degree programs in Music and Theater with dozens of performing groups in theater, music and dance across campus. We administer a wide range of activities—from teaching critical and creative courses in Theater, Music, and Dance to scheduling the use of practice rooms and mentoring participation in student organizations, from programming the professional Friday Music concert series to hosting a full season of Theater in the state-of-the-art Davis Performing Arts Center. Launched in August of 2003, the PPA consolidates the faculty, staff, and administration of academic programs in Music and Theater with those from the former Office of Performing Arts.
