    The Carlsbad Library is of great importance to each person, school and organized group, to business and government, and especially to the young people of this city. In light of the need of a group devoted to the development and support of this library, the Friends of the Library has been established.

    About Us

    Establish closer relations between the City Library and its constituents.

    Develop better citizenship through better reading.

    Provide wholesome entertainment for the children of the community.

    Provide more adequate reading material and other essentials for children and adults.

    Lead in developing a program to extend and improve the Library's services and resources.
