Burbrella Microschools are one of the top performing innovative schools in 2023! In September 2023 Burbrella microschools were selected out of 2700 other schools across the country to become a quarter finalist for the $1 million dollar yass prize, a prestigious award given to the countries top innovative schools. Burbrella went on to become a semifinalist for the $1 million dollar yass prize and was rewarded with $200,000 in December 2023. Burbrella offers families a private online microschool with daily live instruction and an in person campus in Burlington, NC. Burbrella's online microschool services families in 19 states. All microschools have the same grade level program structure that operates in pods.
