About Us
The purpose is to encourage the improvement of agriculture, horticulture, and the mechanic arts through the holding of an annual fair, supporting educational programs and providing Scholarships and grants to promote such improvement. The Agricultural Society co sponsors the 180 year old Long Island Fair held annually at Old Bethpage Village Restoration. The Fair seeks to raise awareness of Long Islands agricultural heritage as well as current issues such as sustainability and the farm to table movement.
