OGVO VOLUNTEERS PLACEMENT

The OGVO is a registered non-profit and non-governmental Organization which offers variety of volunteering projects / placement, language and cultural immersion program, internships, travel program etc. to international students and non-students/volunteers in Africa, Ghana. OUR VISION

That every community in Ghana would reach a level of development that is most dignifying to the total and holistic progress of mankind.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT:

To consciously target key, yet pressing challenges facing various communities in Ghana and develop practical, efficient and relevant solutions to these challenges. This would be tackled through the development of appropriate sustainability projects, advocacy, education, training, and infrastrural facilities. This in the long term, will protect, restore the quality of human life and development in communities.

To provide a whole range of cross cultural programs and hold up services to youth, students, educators, volunteers, institutions, etc.

THE AIMS OF OGVO ARE:

OGVO has been set up with the specific objective of helping volunteers who want to come to Ghana find it easy and relatively cheaper to do so.

The organization has been set up with the following specific objectives;

1. To give people who are interested in voluntary camp workshop the opportunity to use their leisure time in community service development work.

2. To bring people from different parts of the world together to work for the betterment of society whiles giving them the opportunity to learn from each other and develop useful relationships.

3. Give foreign volunteers the opportunity to learn about Africa from Africans in Africa.
