Mission
CCUM Food Bank mission statement: "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in." Matthew 25:35 ~~~~~~~ Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona mission: "The Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona responds to the root causes of hunger, and seeks to restore dignity, health, opportunity and hope to people living in poverty. Our mission is to change lives in the communities we serve by feeding the hungry today, and building a healthy, hunger-free tomorrow."
About Us
The food bank at Christ Church United Methodist is a partner agency with the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona. We distribute montly TEFAP (The Emergency Food Assistance Program) boxes as well as provide pantry visits to clients.
We are open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9am-noon.
