MICR operates two primary program areas: K-12 Pathways and Alumni Support.
In our K-12 Pathways, we run 13 rugby teams (middle and high school), serving 350+ students annually. These rugby programs facilitate players' academic, athletic, and social-emotional development through academic support programs; high-quality, trauma-informed coaching; free nutrition at all games and practices; and additional opportunities such as leadership and professional development workshops.
Our Alumni Support Program serves MICR alumni - anyone who has completed high school and played for at least one semester for MICR. Alumni Support includes college mentoring, scholarships, job opportunities, textbook and food security stipends, and paid internships.
Through these programs, MICR aims to combat poverty and expand access to education. Learn more at www.memphisinnercityrugby.org.
