About Us

The Data Coordinating Center (DCC) at Boston University School of Public Health has been a data management and statistical analysis resource center since 1984. The DCC assists public health researchers from Boston University, Boston Medical Center, and other educational institutions and hospitals in the Boston area with questionnaire and case report form design, implementation of study protocols, data management, data entry, database and web programming, and statistical analysis. Our staff of statistical analysts, database programmers, and data managers have expertise in study design, development of computerized and web-based electronic data collection and tracking systems, quality control procedures, and statistical analysis methods. The DCC has collaborated on hundreds of research projects, including several multi-site and international clinical trials, in subject areas including HIV, TB, addiction treatment, environmental exposures, child nutrition and development, and others.
