  • About Us

Retro Report produces trustworthy and compelling journalism, steeped in historical context, to bring clarity to complicated issues at a time when misinformation is rampant and there’s disagreement over objective facts. These documentary reports anchor our free classroom resources that revitalize history, civics, and media literacy education.

Our work combats the information crisis, attacking it at its core by:

    • Reimagining history and civics education, using a format that engages students – short-form video.
    • Providing journalism that is nonpartisan and grounded in facts (not opinion) which is critical for rebuilding trust in information sources.
    • Creating tools to support media literacy and combat misinformation.
