About us:

 “Karma Cultural Centre” is a Non- profitable organisation – Registered in Puducherry  South India.  It supports the local community in transformation of knowledge through women and child development. karma has identified poor/semi –orphan/orphan children’s and support these children’s with medical facilities / education materials/ dress materials and we also provide education scholarship to continue their higher studies. Skill development programs are conducted  for women to create a self employment opportunities and to create an individual identity for them. Karma has adopted 145 Gypsy and schedule tribes community people and supporting them with basic  needs  on monthly basis. It also take active part in emergency relief measure activities during natural disaster.

Karma creates a platform through which international and domestic volunteers can come and offer their service to different NGO’s that are desperate for voluntary assistance. It provides skilled or unskilled volunteers to the NGO’s those who work the poor and down trodden community. karma highlights your stay in India by providing a joyful and friendly environment.

Karma also extends its service in promoting Indian arts and culture though realistic activities & different kinds of workshops which is performed throughout the year. Different types of activities like yoga/dance/art/ language program/ cookery....are performed for group and individuals. Karma cultural centre provides the tools, resources and training for individual / different community people to succeed creatively as well as sustain themselves globally. karma is a centre for exploration, collaboration and cultural fusion.

Mission:

Karma focuses on creating a platform to the local community for their future. It is an environment that says, ”Welcome” where we learn how much we all have in common.

Activities:

Education scholarship for poor/semi orphan and orphan children’s.

Medical camps on monthly basis along with free medicines and regular follow ups children/women.

Conducting  Art/cultural programs in schools to motivate the children’s.

Skill development training are conducted for women.

Seminar are conducted for women on RCH program (Reproductive child health program).

Providing basic needs for Gypsy/ Schedule tribes community people.

Family/legal counselling.

Volunteers/ interns placement.
