Safe Harbor Crisis Center

  • Mission

Safe Harbor, a non-profit organization, provides shelter, supportive services and advocacy to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, as well as education, awareness and resources to our community.

    About Us

Safe Harbor Crisis Center is the first and ONLY domestic violence and rape crisis center in Davis County, UT. Safe Harbor Crisis Center opened its doors in 1997 and served more than 300 adults and children in the first year of operation. Since then our services continued to expand to meet survivor and community needs. Our free comprehensive, client-centered services now include: Emergency Protective Shelter; Domestic Violence Outreach Services; Diversity Program; Children’s Services; 24-Hour Crisis Response; Transitional Housing; Sexual Assault Services; Protective Order Assistance; and Community Outreach and Education. Plus, in 2015 we launched an Economic Empowerment Program helps low-income domestic violence survivors with dependent children with job preparedness and work retention. We could not function without volunteers, who donated over 5,000 hours in the last year. We have a variety of volunteer opportunities and hope you will join our team in ending violence in the community.
