About Us
Yikes Tikes! is a nonprofit Spanish/English bilingual language- and motor-enriched center for preschoolers. Our program is led by experienced early childhood educators and maintains a 1:4 teacher-to-child ratio recommended by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. The Yikes Tikes! staff is supported by Speech and Language Pathologists and Occupational Therapists from the Center for Speech Language and Occupational Therapy, who help lead the curriculum and are available to provide additional developmental support if needed. The mission of Yikes Tikes! is to provide enhanced learning opportunities for all children. Our language- and motor- enriched learning environment is designed to help children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds by strengthening social communication and motor skills necessary for school success.
