  • About Us

Feral, stray, abandoned, or homeless are all names given to the large numbers of free roaming cats located in the communities we serve. Stray HELP was created in 2015 to assist these animals and the people who care for them. Our mission statement: Our mission is to rescue and care for stray and homeless animals while providing humane education to the community. We work with members of the community helping cats in need. We conduct Trap/Neuter/Return/Place and train home and business owners, college campuses and municipal agencies how to properly care for free roaming cats. We focus in Southern Dutchess County but help people throughout Dutchess, Putnam and Orange Counties by training them, loaning equipment, coordinating Spay/Neuter Clinics and offering guidance.
