AVIAN UNDERDOGS RESCUE ASSOCIATION
Mission
Our mission is to provide rescue, rehabilitation, sanctuary, and adoption services for species of wild birds that are not protected under state or federal law as well as domestic and exotic avian species. We specialize in English House Sparrows, European Starlings, feral and domestic pigeons and doves, and small to mid-sized hookbills (parrots).
About Us
In order to accomplish our goals, we are developing an association of people who will volunteer their time and talents to provide:
* Hands on care for sick, injured, and/or orphaned birds
* Transportation services to see that needy birds can get to where they need to be for care
* Foster and adoptive homes
* Fundraising to assure that we have the financial means to meet the needs of the birds in our care
* Educational materials to aid members of the public who find needy birds
