San Francisco Downtown Development Corporation

The San Francisco Downtown Development Corporation (DDC) is a new nonprofit public benefit corporation formed to revitalize and reimagine downtown San Francisco. Led by a coalition of business, labor, and philanthropic leaders and working in close coordination with the City, the DDC brings together private investment, civic leadership, and cross-sector coordination to create a more vibrant, resilient, and inclusive downtown.

The DDC serves as a central organizing hub for coordination, speed, and execution. We work to identify, fund, and implement high-priority initiatives that make downtown safer, cleaner, and more welcoming for residents, workers, businesses, and visitors. In parallel, we are identifying long-term public financing tools to support downtown San Francisco’s health and evolution for generations to come.
