Partnership for Strong Families, Inc

Partnership for Strong Families (PSF) is the lead community-based care agency for North Central Florida. Our mission is to enhance the community’s ability to protect and nurture children by building, maintaining and constantly improving our network of family support services. PSF is contracted by the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) to deliver comprehensive child welfare services to children who are victims of abuse and neglect. This includes licensed foster care and adoption from foster care, as well as support services for families involved in our system of care. Part of our effort to keep children safe is the recruitment of new foster and adoptive parents to nurture the children and youth in our care.

PSF also works with at-risk families to prevent child abuse and to decrease the risk of children entering the out-of-home care system by working with community organizations to connect families with needed resources. We operate four community based resource centers which serve close to 40,000 patrons yearly and facilitate Children’s Partnership Councils to help fill service gaps across our 13 counties.
