Our mission is to promote charitable giving among students and young professionals in the South Asian community and beyond... to drive a movement of creative altruism, unparalleled giving and preservation of diversity and culture... to bring hands on volunteerism to our local communities and hope to our global society.

Thaakat Foundation is a 501 (C)(3) non-profit organization hoping to empower, inspire and promote charitable giving and volunteer work among students and young professionals, while pushing for curiosity and care of global society.

Thaakat Foundation has two divisions: a global division that organizes hands-on relief efforts for underprivileged communities around the world and a local division, which leads community-based volunteer projects in Chicago, New York and New Jersey, having organized 25+ individual volunteer events in the past.
